It holds IV fluid packs just as easily as infusion pumps, ventilators, patient monitors, suction units and other equipment. The pole is stainless steel for strength and durability, featuring an extra rigid, pole-in-tube mounting system. The 6-leg, 23" base is made of powder-coated, ultra-heavy, tip resistant steel for unmatched stability. The 4" rubber wheel, ball bearing casters allow for easy maneuverability across the room or from room-to-room. Please note, the stand is shipped in two boxes, so some light assembly is required. The stand is height adjustable from 60"-100". The bent, low center-of-gravity base increases stability and reduces the risk of the pole tipping. Single, ergonomic knob allows for easy height adjustment. The six casters move the pole smoothly over most surfaces including tile, rugs and carpeting. Because the unit is stainless steel, it is NOT MRI compatible.
